2 people have been arrested and bailed following a bottle attack on a man in Sandown on Friday night.
Police are investigating the assault, which took place on York Road between 22:30 and 23:00.
A man in his 20s is said to have been hit over the head with a bottle.
A 24-year-old man from Lake and a 37-year-old man from Shanklin were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and affray. They have since been bailed until 23rd October.
Enquiries remain ongoing.

Speaking from vast experience, I find that most of the crime on the island, If not all, is mainly all down to the people and their offspring that have moved here from the towns and city’s of the mainland. If you don’t like living here,
You know where the nearest ferry port is ! I am sure you will enjoy living in a more diverse and cultural challenging environment.
