A collision between 2 BMWs in Bembridge has led to an emergency response from Police and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service tonight (Thursday).
The incident has occurred on Steyne Road in the village, with a black BMW 3-series estate colliding into the rear of a parked black BMW 1-series at around 20:35.
The 1-series has been shunted onto the pavement and it’s thought it has collided into the rear of a VW Golf.
Firefighters from Sandown have been mobilised to the scene in the interests of safety due to fluid across the carriageway.
The single retained crew are working to isolate the vehicle.
Police are on scene and have closed the road in both directions.
Motorists should divert via Mill Road in both directions.

Well that is a difficult section of road to navigate, being flat, straight and well lit. Glad they didnt do that when my kid was walking to school along there today.
