Four raccoons are currently on the loose having escaped from Amazon World overnight but members of the public are being urged not to approach the quartet if they are to see them.
The all-female foursome are believed to have escaped their enclosure last night, having only arrived at Amazon World 3 weeks ago.
Experts suggest that the raccoons could remain together as a result of them being sociable animals, but although they may seem friendly, you shouldn’t approach them.

Those who live locally are being urged to check sheds and bonfire piles. Raccoons sleep during the day and become active at dusk.
