Members of the public are being invited to this year’s Barton Manor Open Garden in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice on Sunday 5th July between 10:00-16:00.
Enjoy the grounds of this private estate once owned by Queen Victoria whilst raising vital funds for the Hospice. Entry is just £4.
Visitors will be able to visit the pop-up Hospice shop where clothes, cosmetics, sunflowers, sunflower umbrellas and much more will be on sale. Children’s entertainment will be available all day with craft, shows, face painters, balloon modelling and a magic show by Huxley Magic at 11:00.
Live music from local artists will be performed on the Japanese Garden stage, Lake stage and Courtyard stage alongside local stall holders selling crafts, vintage items, art work, soft furnishings and much more. Even candy floss, popcorn and a teddy tombola.
The Sunflower café returns for this year bringing a taste of the John Cheverton Centre café’s home-made delights, thanks to Head Chef Gary Barton and a team of volunteers.
For 2015 the singing workshop returns – Join a West End performer with this year’s theme of The Phantom of the Opera. Learn a medley of songs from the popular show and then perform to the Barton Manor crowd in the afternoon. The workshop is £18 per person (including programme/song sheets and entry to the event). Invite friends and family to attend and watch your performance at 15:00.
