Flying medics from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance are assisting colleagues from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service with an ongoing medical emergency in Wootton this afternoon (Friday).
2 ambulances and an operational commander are on scene at Woodlands Crescent off St Edmunds Walk.
The air ambulance landed in the nearby Wootton Recreation Ground at around 13:10, having been alerted to the emergency at around 12:45.
UPDATE @ 14:22 – Emergency crews have now stood down from the incident.
The air ambulance is returning to its base in Andover. It has not been required to convey the female patient.
