The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has landed on the pad at Ryde’s hovercraft terminal this afternoon (Wednesday).
It was just before 17:00 that the yellow and green helicopter touched down on the Esplanade.
It’s understood flying doctors are assisting the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service with an ongoing medical emergency.
UPDATE @ 17:00 – The air ambulance has now returned to it’s base at Thruxton without conveying any patients.
