Cross-Solent ferry operator Red Funnel has announced a series of cancellations on its vehicle ferry service which are set to affect customers planning to travel later today (Saturday).
Technical issues have been blamed for the cancellations of the company’s 16:30 departure from Southampton and the 18:00 crossing from East Cowes.
Customers affected by the cancellations should contact the operator directly for advice.

Leave us islanders in the shit when we have to commute to work ….and couldn’t even give you correct advice when you do call them

Seems as if they can do what they like …and charge what they like
Maybe Dave Stewart’s commandeered all scheduled departures so the lorry loads of tea chests containing brown envelopes can be evacuated to somewhere friendlier to deposed leaders… A bit like trains full of paintings in the forties.
