Hovertravel has been forced to cancel its cross-Solent services this afternoon (Thursday) due to adverse weather conditions.
Strong winds on the Solent have resulted in the suspension of the Ryde-Southsea service in its entirely.
Tickets are being accepted on Wightlink’s Fastcat service.
UPDATE @ 21:25 – Hovertravel has warned of the potential for further cancellations tomorrow morning (Friday) due to continued poor weather and strong winds.
An update is due to be issued at 06:00.
