5 schools from across the Isle of Wight are competing in the Southern Finals of the Global Rock Challenge in Portsmouth next week.
Stenbury Federation and The Bay CE have both qualified for the Southern J Rock Finals as high scoring runners up. Both schools placed second at their respective heats, winning multiple awards including the Award of Excellence for Entertainment. Stenbury will be performing on Tuesday 23rd April, with The Bay CE taking to the stage the following day.
2 other Isle of Wight Schools also qualified for the Southern Open Finals, once again as high scoring runners up. Medina College and Christ the King College will be taking on judges’ feedback before performing at the finals on Thursday 25th April, competing alongside schools from Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.
The Island is also represented at the Southern Premier Final.
