2 cyclists have been taken to hospital following a road traffic incident in Shanklin this evening (Saturday).
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service sent 2 ambulances to Church Road near Cowleaze Hill at 18:47.
Southern Vectis tweeted at the time to say the road was partially blocked, causing delays to their Route 3 buses.
It has been confirmed that the 2 cyclists have been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
Church Road remains open to all traffic.
