A 2-car collision is causing delays on a main road in the West Wight this afternoon (Friday).
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called at 15:03 with reports of a collision involving 2 cars on Hill Lane, Norton Green.
Blue light colleagues from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service have also attended the incident.
Island Echo understands that the collision has seen the involved vehicles left on either side of the carriageway.
The road is currently closed at the Pixley Hill junction.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being.
UPDATE – The incident has now been cleared.
2 people sustained minor injuries, Police have confirmed.

Any traffic incident and up you pop to spout the same old drivel. 20 limits have their places, e.g. outside schools and along the main drag at Godshill, but to advocate an island-wide blanket 20mph is utter stupidity.
