A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place following an incident in Totland last night (Sunday).
Shortly after 21:00, officers responded to what is being called a domestic incident at an address in Totland.
Several Police units descended on the normally quiet spot in the West Wight, where they then made an arrest.
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that a 15-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of common assault and making threats to kill.
It has also been confirmed to Island Echo that a hammer has been seized as part of the Police’s enquiries, with the teenager also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
He remains in custody at this time.

Unbelievable! There are a plethora of possible reasons why this child did what he did. For example, we know how much you oldies like to fiddle with kids. Maybe his grandad had been diddling him (a rather popular island pastime, so it would seem) and he finally decided he’d had enough. We simply do not know. Judge not, lest ye be judged.
So don’t judge – you admit not knowing, yet accuse islanders of being peados without any evidence to back up that claim – perhaps it is you that has an issue that you don’t want to talk about, seeing as disgusting acts are on your mind.

They are not fit to be representing our forces. When I did my basic we had yobs who were given the choice of signing up or go to prison by the judges. As soon as thy arrived they were stealing from lockers etc. We taught them to respect others by using the old school way of correctness!!!
Try blaming what they see and hear about in real life from the inner cities.as it is there vi beings have brought knife crime to the level it is at, and then guns, and then acid thrown in peoples faces.

Good grief talk about hung, drawn and quartered. Thank goodness you’re all not psychiatrists! Young people are a product of their environment – FACT. They learn what they see, live and breathe from around them, led astray sometimes by wayward, uneducated parents with poor to little ‘education’ which incidentally is rife on the island or maybe by peer pressure because everyone knows ‘ you have to be like your mates’. A lack of aspiration, because, let’s face it, there’s not much going for the youth of the island, poverty breeds poverty always has, always will and I don’t mean just monetary. Violence begets violence – DV!! Etc etc
IF, and a huge IF, you are right, then we should not be allowing in the poorest of the poor from the poorest nations on Earth, who fill our jails after committing acts of violence so vile, the likes of which has rarely, if ever been known to the UK before. So many incarcerated that we can no longer jail our own criminals for meaningful lengths of time, as to do so, would require them to be as vile as, or worse.
