Dragged up by grubby parents….that should be sterilised…
Feral youth. The Island is full of it.
Let us hope they are made an example of.
Yes really? You naughty boys, behave in future…..
And their parents too.
They and their family won’t be.
They due to the mini budget will get MORE money, all index linked so they will not be worse off like working familes, AND they then will get MORE help with ‘the cost of living rise payments’ So will all be BETTER OFF.
We will pay out more on Council tax, taxes, and most everything else to help ‘support’ low lives like these, and the dim will STILL give more to charities that support this sort ‘allegedly’ living in poverty, BUT having a higher income and LESS expenditure than many working people.
The courts will do nothing AND they know it.
These ferral kids or parents should be heavily fined & have a criminal. record.
Bring back borstal!
No just treat them like ‘little’ hero’s without any deterent.
If you are unaware of borstal explained below:-
(formerly in Britain) an informal name for an establishment in which offenders aged 15 to 21 could be detained for corrective training. Since the Criminal Justice Act 1982, they have been replaced by youth custody centres (now known as young offender institutions)
There are places on the mainland where the worst of the worst are sent. Though they are not called Borstal anymore, Young Offenders Institutions.
Yes but they will be nothing like borstal was.
I have first hand knowledge of borstal.
These babies wouldn’t last 10 minutes in borstal
young offender institutions aren’t tough. They get the newest consoles and computers, food whenever, open doors in and out, money, decorated rooms to their liking etc. I worked at a home and that’s what they are, no punishments only therapists
They are not nice places at all. Give them a stint in there. That’ll sort them out. They certainly won’t want to go back, that’s for sure!
It’s the only way with children as ferral and out of control as these boys.
Sadly, I don’t think that it would.
Young offenders institutions are like prisons , you’re living with people all of the same kind – so much so that you end up hyping other people up or sharing stories, tips and tricks. The world is a very different place today. Sadly, these children are likely to end up in prison when old enough.
Who knows what their circumstances are. Can’t blame the parents entirely, how often did we as kids not tell our parents where we were going? Although, I never behaved in such a manner that would intimidate others, especially in a violent way. But, parenting today is very different to parenting back in the day.
Sure, I understand what your saying and I agree with the majority. One would hope that some sort of rehabilitation program would be applied to at least the 13 & 14 year olds. These kids obviously haven’t had a good, loving, stable upbringing. This is where all this stems from. It is not the Police’s job to babysit these kids. Their parents made them and bought them into this world, they are responsible and should be made accountable and face fines and have to attend compulsory parenting classes.
Yes bring back borstals – my relatives worked in them – hard treatment where respect was taught and the feral kids did as they were told – ask anyone who did time in a borstal whether they went on to commit crimes – majority NO
Yes we certainly did as we were told
It sorted me out
Iv never been in trouble since and done well in life thanks to borstal
My God, the catalogue of offences that relate to these children are utterly disgusting. What do their parents think? Do their parents even care? These boys MUST not be allowed to get away this this, oh no. A slap on the wrist by an Island Judge will definitely not suffice. They need locking up in a Young Offenders on the mainland. Give them a stint in Feltham Young Offenders. They certainly won’t want to go back there!
Law or no law whatever their ages they should be named.
Totally agree and the parents should be dragged into court as well !
These pathetic, disgusting young Yobs should be named and shamed so everyone will know who they are!
Also sent away to some strict offenders unit!!
What is wrong with parents these day’s not knowing who they are with where they are ….
Discipline respect are alien word’s these day’s…..
Waste of space all of them
And they will breed producing more feral benefit scrounging scum.
I would sooner have 50,000 “feral youth” on the island than any more raised with your judgemental and cruel outlook.
100 percent scum and the parents are sat at home off there heads watching tv and normal folk who work are paying for them
Bailed! You what? Oh, thank you so much for the protection. Get real!
And they will get a slap on the wrist and become heroes among the rest of the feral scum, the parents should be forced to pay fines and recompense all the victims to cover all damage and all stolen goods.
We need borstals bringing back with discipline so harsh the scroats will be too scared to be sent back again.
There is no discipline at home and none at school whilst the pc and do gooders brigade have ensured the filth cannot be held responsible for their actions, groups of them are out roaming the streets until the early hours of the morning vandalising anything they can.
Only take notice if they stop benefits to the scrotes family.
It’s so sad that such young boys have succumb to this lifestyle, what drove them to drink at such a young age and what caused these antisocial behaviours?! With the increasing numbers of young offenders we must really crack down on preventing such outbursts. With everyone being under such immense pressure to feed their family’s its likely that the kids are catching a lot of this stress too, no matter how attentive the gaurdians are. We need to support eachother in this crisis because together we are capable of anything. Making an example of these kids won’t change them but getting to the bottom of what’s causing these antisocial behaviours might.
It says a lot that this is one of the only comments here that makes any attempt at empathy and it’s also one of the only ones on a minus rating.
Having kids run around breaking the law obviously isn’t something anyone wants, but we all know Ryde is an exponentially growing hellhole at this point, I don’t think it would kill folks to stretch their minds further than “these people are feral scum and I’m paying for it personally”
Get your heads out your own arses, for real, that some would look at this situation and the only thought that lights up in your brains is that some of your tax money might be wasted on this is pathetic.
It’s a small wonder nothing gets fixed on the Isle when all you people give a crap about is your wallets.
They are so out of control that they are a danger to all including themselves. They need serious punishment and re education or it will be too late and their lives will amount to nothing.
There are far too many wannabee gangsters around , and if they get away with it then their criminal behaviour will escalate and also encourage others to follow in their footsteps.
The parents have to bear a lot of responsibility for this sad situation. Courts must hit them hard before it’s too late. I think bail was a mistake.
Send them in the Foreign Legion
These children shouldn’t be punished. They need help and guidance which is something that they obviously have never had their whole lives. It’s just a viscous circle otherwise.
They need putting down!
If you saw the parents you would understand why they have turned out like this.
They are at the end of the day just kids. But from what I’ve read they are virtually feral. They do need to be removed from society for a while, but I doubt it will help. I’d expect at least 2 of them will go on to become habitual offenders well into adulthood. What they actually need is firm but fair discipline, lots of physical exertion and some expert guidance and parental love. They could turn it all around given the right motivation and opportunity. Their parents probably don’t know the half of what they get up to. After they get dealt with by the courts, they need a new direction in life, or they’ll be lost to the prison system and all that goes with it.
And what will the punishment be community service should bring back borstal
Bet the parents are proud of them
Forget grubby parents and feral youths
let’s hope they have learned a lesson or
The rocky road to ruining the rest of their lives
Bring back borstal, chuck em in and throw away the key!
These feral brats should be put on curfews, the DWP need to grow some b*lls and start questioning why smackhead and swilling parents are claiming more free handouts for PIP and disability payments for the side effects their habits are causing that is more than a workman is grafting for, and why they are being allowed to get free housing, prescriptions, glasses and dentistry. Why are they being paid cost of living payments from the government when they pay nothing into the country. They are all bragging about their need not to work and taking the p*ss out of the system while genuine sick and disabled people are getting their money stopped, and pensioners being robbed of their own money that they have paid in for years
