The Island’s biggest indoor play frame at JR Zone in Newport just got bigger and cooler with the launch of the Arctic Blast experience, which was officially opened on Saturday with a little help from Enchanted Isle’s Princess Elsa.
The 2 new levels gave kids the perfect opportunity to chill out and cool off at the weekend and competition winners enjoyed being the first bunch to enjoy the frame, which has been custom designed for JR Zone.
Arctic Blast has transformed the existing play frame, taking it from 3 to 5 levels and incorporates a range of Arctic themed areas. Kids can tumble down The Avalanche, tackle the Ice Wall climb or brave the perilous Glacier Bridge with its perspex floor overlooking the rest of the frame. The Chill Zone with motion detecting downdraft fans proved a big hit with the children and offers an excellent opportunity to cool off. The Frozen Ravine creates the illusion of an endless drop using state of the art LED lights.
Chief Executive, Peter Tomlinson said:
“We’re delighted to unveil the new Arctic Blast experience at JR Zone. It’s been bespoke designed, is completely unique and the kids all loved it at the weekend. This is our second significant investment into the play frame in 2 years and adding two levels means there’s lots more for the children to enjoy”.
JR Zone is open 7 days a week from 10:00-18:00. Find out more online at www.jrzone.co.uk.
