Firefighters are tackling a car fire on the industrial estate in Newport this afternoon (Thursday).
1 appliance from Newport is on scene at Hurstake Road, off Riverway, having been mobilised by fire control at just gone 16:00.
The situation is under control with 2 firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus and armed with a hose reel, working to contain and extinguish the blaze.
It appears the fire has developed within the engine bay of a black Ford Focus.
The incident is located to the rear of Central Garage, beside Best Garage.
No injuries are thought to have been
sustained.
