A Ryde woman has been punished with only a conditional discharge, despite admitting to failing to comply with a community protection notice no less than 3 times.
Amber Banham-Gage, 22, of George Street, appeared before Magistrates earlier this week (Tuesday) and admitted 3x individual fail to comply with a community protection notice.
Prosecuting, Lauren McConnell told the court that back in January 2024, Banham-Gage was handed a 12-month Community Protection Notice (CPN) with a total of 7 requirements attached.
On 24th June, Banham-Gage was seen in the company of an individual she was banned from seeing. Then on 6th and 7th July, Banham-Gage was found in a property in Ryde that she was banned from entering.
The court heard how Banham-Gage has a total of 3 convictions for 23 offences.
Defending Banham-Gage, Oscar Vincent told the court that his client was a vulnerable individual and that she had a limited social group.
Magistrates opted to hand Banham-Gage a 4-month conditional charge. She was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £26 surcharge fee.

Why not just tell her to do what she wants. the courts don’t care
THRICE……………….so 3 times then..
This is an absolute lost cause. If this is the best that the courts can do, then they should pack up and go home. They are wasting tax payers money.
