A 33-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage following an incident at an address in Lake this afternoon (Tuesday).
Police were called at 12:52 to a report of an incident at an address off Sandown Road, Lake, to the rear of Pet Doctors.
It was reported that a man in his 30s had sustained a minor injury.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service was called to the scene with an ambulance deployed.
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that a 33-year-old woman, from Lake, has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a person thereby occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage.
She remains in custody at Newport Police Station.
Enquiries are ongoing.
