Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a collision that took place in Oakfield last night (Monday). As first reported by Island Echo, Police were called at around 19:19 following reports of a crash on High Street in Oakfield near the junction with Harding Road. At the scene, a silver BMW 3-series had collided with a Ford Fiesta, and the driver of the Fiesta – a female – reported minor injuries. The two male occupants of the BMW fled the scene on foot after threatening a male occupant of the Fiesta with a knife. A spokesperson from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
