Adverse weather has forced Hovertravel to suspend its sailings this morning (Monday).
Wind and rain have forced the cancellation which has come into force immediately.
Tickets that have already been purchased will be accepted on Wightlink’s Fast Cat service.
An update is due at 12:00 as to the likelihood of services returning this afternoon.
UPDATE @ 13:15 – Services are to remain cancelled until at least 14:00 when the next update is due.
UPDATE @ 14:02 – Cancellations are to remain in place until at least 15:00 Hovertravel has confirmed.
UPDATE @ 15:03 – Services are to resume at 15:15 from Ryde.
It’s not the safest mode of travell in bad weather and they are losing profits putting peoples safety first so big respect to the hover travel crew x
