A vessel suffering engine issues was towed to safety by the volunteer crew of Cowes RNLI Lifeboat this evening (Monday).
The crew – who have made local and National headlines this week after rescuing a deer from the middle of the Solent – were on exercise at the time of the emergency.
After being hailed by the small motor cruiser, the crew of the Sheena Louise Lifeboat made their way to assist those onboard after their vessel lost power.
A tow was quickly constructed and the vessel was towed to safety at Trinity Landing in Cowes.
