Emergency services have been called to a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle on the main road to Freshwater this afternoon (Saturday).
The incident has occurred on The Middle Road between the junction with the B3399 and Brook Road.
A Mercedes Sprinter Van has crashed whilst heading along the road, coming to rest on its side.
Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary and paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were called to the scene at around 16:30.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have confirmed that the incident was damage only, with just fluids spilled on the carriageway.
UPDATE @ 19:00 – The road has reopened and the incident cleared.
