A brand-new festive pantomime is setting sail at Trinity Theatre this Christmas, as ‘Sinbad Saves the Day’ brings thigh-slapping fun and high seas adventure to the stage.
Written by award-winning local playwright Gwen Stevens, the show promises a family-friendly production packed with music, comedy and traditional panto magic.
Gwen was recently honoured with the IW Theatre’s ‘Best Play’ award and received a NODA ‘Accolade of Excellence’ for her original adaptation of The Canterbury Tales.
‘Sinbad Saves the Day’ follows the swashbuckling journey of Sinbad on a quest filled with epic songs and plenty of laughs. Audiences can also look forward to a nod to Gilbert and Sullivan, with a performance of ‘We Sail the Ocean Blue’ included in the musical line-up.
