Social media personality, model and trainspotter Francis Bourgeois has been holidaying on the Isle of Wight this week and was, unsurprisingly, photographed at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway today (Friday).
The internet star, who rose to fame through the likes of TikTok and Instagram, has been spending time on the Island for his Summer holidays.
Earlier this week he was spotted over at Compton Bay by local ice cream proprietor Gary Hall, of Plaza Ices. Gary kept shtum about the visit, but let the cat out the bag following another positive encounter with the celeb this afternoon.
Francis enjoyed his Plaza Ices whippy so much that he paid another visit to Gary at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. The 23-year-old was enjoying the annual Island Steam Fair and was undoubtably taking great pleasure in seeing the locomotives running up and down the line between Smallbrook and Wootton.
Posing for a photo with Gary, Francis said he was happy for his fans to know about his visit to the Isle of Wight. Subscribers to his channels will no doubt be keeping an eye out to hopefully see Island Line and IW Steam Railway content in the coming weeks – fingers crossed!
Francis Bourgeois is most known for his lighthearted and humorous videos on the topic of trains, posted to TikTok and Instagram. He has over 3.1 million TikTok followers and 2.1 million Instagram followers. He has become such a big star that he has modelled for Gucci and North Face in recent years.
Clearly no-one over here knows who he is….

I think that the comments on this particular item are quite ironic. A YouTuber/TikToker with millions of followers being scoffed at “Who is he? “Never heard of him!” “Whoooooooo?”
He is doing no more or less than anyone who comments on here but to a very much bigger audience. His motivation is no less or greater than anyone’s in posting thoughts, opinions, likes, dislikes etc. Regardless of your personal take he’s very popular. I don’t follow him but enjoy his enjoyment of his interest. I can only imagine the output if some of the commenters on here were given a bigger platform.

On the contrary.. his motivation for posting on social media is to gain followers, and make money….
I am sure the content he posts, is carefully crafted to appeal to what he thinks or knows from experience, his followers will like, or want to hear..
I can’t really imagine anyone ‘following’ a commenter on here.. & (correct me if I’m wrong) afaik, there is no mechanism for making money by commenting on here ….

They are mostly expressing their envy of someone who has far more money and success in a few short years than they managed in the entirety of their pointless lives.
I’ve seen him,strange lad but likable and has met many famous people and gets invited to there parties and opening performance. Seen him with Prince and Princess other day, King Charlie kid, can’t remember name!.
