Fancy a chilly dip this Christmas? Then why not head to one of the many Boxing Day swims that are taking place across the Island on Friday (26th December).
A widespread offering of swims across the Island will all get the pulses racing at this chilly time of year
In Ventnor, the 45th anniversary Boxing Day Swim gets underway from Ventnor Esplanade at 12:00.
Monies raised on the day will go towards Ventnor Carnival and Patch.
Further up the coast in Shanklin, swimmers are urged to meet at Small Hope Beach, next to The Salix, for midday. Swimmers are set to get in the water at 12:30.
In the North of the Island, swimmers in Gurnard will enter the sea at Gurnard Sailing Club at 11:00.
On New Year’s Day, there will be a dip in Sandown, opposite Pebbles Beach Café, at 10:30. The dip costs £2 per person.
