A multi-million pound historic Solent fort remains for sale, after nearly 4 years on the market.
The fort was most recently run as a hotel, but high running costs and other issues meant owners Clarenco LLP attempted to find an alternative use for the 19th-century fort.
Earlier this year, back in March Island Echo revealed that an application had gone in to allow any new prospective owner to turn the site into a private home.
Its £4.25 million original price tag was reduced to £3.6 million and now, inviting offers over £3.5million. It features 23 bedrooms, a lighthouse, laser battle play area and spa.
In 2012, Clarenco (also known as Solent Forts) converted it, adding a helipad, indoor swimming pool and restaurant.
Knock another £3,000,000.00 off and then it might sell.
