January saw a very slight increase in the number of Islanders claiming the unemployment benefit Jobseekers Allowance.
1,707 Islanders were out of work and claiming JSA in January, a rise of just 9 from 1,698 claimants back in December.
Year on year there were 365 less people claiming compared to January 2015.
