Emergency services are responding to a 2-car crash on The Downs at Knighton this morning (Monday), which has seen 1 vehicle come to a stop up an embankment.

More idiots will be along soon….
Which village do you represent?
My friend was travelling towards Knighton past Rowlands Lane. He could see the line of brake lights by the junction so slowed going round the left hand bend at the bottom of the hill. Two cars stopped behind him, then a van came hurtling down the hill and around the corner and went into the back of the first parked car which then pushed the second car nearly into the back of my friends car. A total lack of care or observation on the van drivers part, with two innocent drivers badly inconvenienced.
Most van drivers are idiots and always bully other drivers, everyone knows van drivers have a very aggressive attitude…..
Prat it’s about time you grew up
It’s about time you practice what you preach…idiot
Have you ever thought about rising above insults? everyone is an idiot according to you.
Grow up act like an adult, or is that above you?
You know nothing about these traffic incidents and condemn all involved as an idiot, people would respect your comments if they came across with an element of knowledge, understanding and basic humility.
Why do you think you get so many thumbs down and negative comments?
Why do you think you get so many thumbs down and negative comments?
Because I’m always right, and most drivers on this island are idiots, that’s why I’m always voted down…they won’t except reality and truth…
I now see you prove my point, ” most drivers on this island are idiots”, once again you insult, and you are unable to rise above that. This says much about yourself, you just condemned yourself far better than any comments from me or anyone else.
Very sad.
Blimey, three erroneous claims to fact in just one sentence. That’s going some even for you, LYK. Some van drivers will be idiots or act idiotically – as with some car and motor cycle, scooter and cycle users, but not ‘most’. They do not ‘always’ bully other drivers. Again, some do, as with other road users above. ‘Everyone’ does not know that van drivers have a very aggressive attitude. Some do, just like your aggressive, unreasoning and sometimes, frankly, idiotic approach to analysis and conclusion. Still, I suppose that’s what freedom of opinion and speech is all about.
Speeding and driving without due care and attention on the and part. Such a shame and as you said, an inconvenience to both car drivers.
Drivers are in so much of a hurry all the time.. obviously driving with due care and attention are not on their mind.. what’s the rush to die ??
Could not agree more, trouble is people think it will never happen to them, an “accident” always happens to someone else, never them, and then it’s them, and it’s everybody else’s fault, never theirs.
Well said Sunshine ,I totally agree with you
This road is a prime attraction for people who think they are on a racing track. Some are lucky to get home safe and sound, some are not and it only takes one idiot to think their vehicle can “go faster”. I have seen many vehicles accelerating on the down hill drives and some van drivers are the worse. Admittedly this was two cars but people need to be aware this is not a race track and accelerating on a downward slope is not recommended, if anything you need to reduce your gear.
No one can treat that junction area as a race track at that time of the morning, everything comes to a 30 mph crawl. Its my daily commute and I passed the accident shortly after it happened. I can 100% guarantee the light silver Pug pulled out into oncoming traffic, whether inpatient’s, misjudgement or lack of looking and taking in the information. But it had absolutely nothing to do with road speeds at that time of the morning.
More bad driving on the IW
There is to many stupid people On the island
Not that junction again, again, again. There is nothing wrong with the visibility there, there was once, it was dealt with. No excuse, unless it was a medical issue
