Industry charity Agents Giving has announced the much-anticipated shortlist for the Fundraising Champions of the Year Awards 2023, which has seen the Isle of Wight’s Charlie Panayi nominated alongside his business, Red Squirrel Property Shop.
Charlie has been nominated for the prestigious Outstanding Contribution award, sponsored by propertymark. This award will go to the 1 individual who consistently stands out as a jolly good person in the estate agency industry; someone who is kind and selfless and will do anything for others in need.
This award cannot be entered and is chosen by the Board of Directors.
Separately, Red Squirrel Property Shop – which Charlie heads up – has been nominated for Best Agency Corporate Social Responsibility Award, sponsored by ESTAS. This category will award the estate agency that can demonstrate their company’s CSR, showcasing their annual fundraising, how their causes are determined and the results of their hard work.
Red Squirrel are up against Paramount Properties, Thomas Morris and Dawsons Estate Agents.
Speaking about the nominations, Charlie has said:
“These nominations are massive for me personally and as a company separately, demonstrating what we put into our local community here on the Isle of Wight”.
The winners will be announced at the Agents Giving Charity Ball at Epsom Downs Racecourse next Friday (14th July).
David Newnes, chairman of Agents Giving, has said:
“We have seen examples of truly heartwarming stories of fantastic charity, fundraising and community work.”

If he is so great, why does his estate agency have such a high staff turnover?
