For customers crossing the Solent over the festive period, Red Funnel is operating extra Christmas vehicle ferry sailings between 24th December and 3rd January, including two car ferry sailings in each direction on Christmas Day.
Red Funnel will operate car ferry sailings from East Cowes at 10:30 and 13:30 on 25th December and from Southampton at 09:00 and 12:00.
Although the Red Jet foot passenger service won’t run on Christmas Day, extra Red Jet sailings from Southampton at 22:15 and 23:15 on Boxing Day have been added to the schedule to enable Southampton FC fans to get back to the Island after the match.
The last car ferry sailing on Christmas Eve from the Island (East Cowes) is at 21:00 and from Southampton at 19:30. The same applies for New Years Eve.

On Saturday 5th, 12th and 19th December there will be carol singers on board the car ferries from 10:30 and Santa is expected to visit one of the terminals on Christmas Eve. Travellers can also sample the new winter food menu with festive specials, including a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
