Priory School of Our Lady of Walsingham’s choir has been exceptionally busy in the run-up to Christmas.
After joining schools and churches locally at St James’ on Sunday 7th December for the annual East Cowes Service of Readings and Carols, singing a cappella of the seasonal favourite, ‘Ding Dong Merrily on High,’ they travelled to Bembridge to Inver House on Tuesday 9th December to entertain residents and staff with
carols and Christmas songs.
Then on Thursday 11th December they entertained the Women’s Institute of Whippingham in the Parish Hall just opposite the school.
Oliver Fry the choirmaster commented,
“They brought festive cheer and fun to all who watched and listened, and will be returning to sing again.”
They concluded their busy final week of term by supporting the School’s Nativity Service which was a packed occasion at St Mildred’s Church Whippingham on Friday 12th December.
