Police are tonight (Monday) hunting for the occupants of a green Peugeot 106, which has collided with a car and rolled over on a quiet residential road in Binstead.
Officers are currently in attendance in good numbers at Winston Avenue having been alerted to the incident at just gone 21:05.
According to eye witnesses, 2 males inside the vehicle made off after crashing it. A pedestrian is said to have had a narrow escape.
A dog unit is searching the normally quiet and peaceful area alongside a number of other local units.
Glass and debris has been left on the carriageway, including a road sign which was destroyed in the impact.
