You only run if you’ve got something to hide. Drunk, drugged up, no insurance, no tax, no MOT. All if the above? Hope the Police catch up with you whoever you are.
There will still police lights flashing there when I walked up at nearly 1am last night. It wasn’t that long ago that a car demolished a poor tree in Swanmore Rd at about the same time of night. Too many of these sorts of **** on the roads. -Very frustrating that we can’t have free speech here anymore too so we can’t say what we really feel about everythng,
Drivers fleeing accidents are not punished any where near severely enough.
It wastes a lot of very valuable police time, and it is a serious crime. People who do thus are frequently involved another crime too.
Sentences need toughening up for this , they need to know that this decision to flee will have much more serious consequences for them.
I am a pensioner now, and I remember that in my day punishments were a deterrent, these days we are far, far too soft on crime.
That is why we are in this mess, where a minority of irresponsible people cause mayhem the law abiding majority
Hopefully someone will dob him or her in.
Very well said, Sir.
Unless the car is stolen what is the point in running? I guess to give time to get the drink/drugs out of your system before the officers turn up at your door and then you can just say you panicked?
Leaving the scene of an accident is a far more serious offence. Failing to report within 24 hrs will land you with a driving ban. Especially since they have been looking for said person.
Never understand how one small island can have so many dregs living here
I’m guessing it’s coz so many trashy types come to live here for what they think is a nice life by the sea. Round them all up and use them for fuel, we’ll need some now they’re getting rid of all our useful power stations.
Low life don’t fear the law anymore, we will see more and more of this from now on, it’s quite worrying…
