UPDATED: Police on the Isle of Wight are tonight (Friday) searching for a stolen van that was taken from Colwell Bay this afternoon.
Officers are keeping an eye out for a dark green VW Caddy van, registration HW06 FEG, similar in appearance to our illustration. The vehicle has ‘Island View Holidays’ sign writing on each side.
The vehicle was taken at around 15:00. It is understood the thief may be a youth.
UPDATE SATURDAY: Police have confirmed the vehicle was recovered during the early hours of this morning in the West Wight.
The van has been taken away for forensic examination in the hope of identifying the suspect wanted in connection with the theft.
