Surely if none of these are licensed vehicles with rightful owners we need some permanent anpr cameras on the island. The amount of scum they would mop up would be akin to an ecological disaster.
There are permanent ANPR cameras already staioned over the Island.
Where are these?
Cameras are required Islandwide to make these roads safe.
When all the Gigabit is rolled out
Islandwide CCTV will be installed.
That’s when Wight fibre actually works.
On my 3rd year wit wightfibre never had a single problem
The road was still open at 21:20 ,know this as drove past at this time.
Drugged up scumbag again I expect…..
bloody alcoholics
Another OAP who can’t drive in the dark !
What a stupid comment, how many OAPs do you know that could ‘leg it across the fields’ on the downs road! Honestly
Late night drug run I expect.
Likely hid the stash of drugs, least those that weren’t inside them, so need police drug sniffer dogs in the area.
Likely phoned a partner or mate to collect him from another road after an hour or so.
Yeah, he was drugged up than ran….
Hate this bit of road far too many bends to get up any good speed like 80 plus.Better off sticking to the Milly where you can easily do a 140 plus on the straight bits.
Is it not possible for the Police to search up the owner through the reg plates? At least hold them accountable?
