Police have been called to a minor road traffic collision on The Downs near Knighton this morning (Friday).
A white van has left the carriageway and come to a stop in a hedge on the opposite side of the road.
The incident has occurred on the long uphill straight between the Knighton turn off and the turn off for Brading Downs.
Traffic is being directed in both directions with tailbacks reported.
No one is thought to be injured.
Probably talking on his phone, speeding with absolutely no lights on in the fog on the downs I see it all the time Numpty ! Driver distraction must be or it would not have happened
‘Probably’, so you didn’t see it but thought that must be the cause. Typical single minded attitude based on not knowing the facts.
