Emergency services have been called to a road traffic collision involving at least 2 cars on The Downs near Knighton this afternoon (Sunday).
The incident, which has involved a white Citroen C3 Aircross and another vehicle, has occurred at the Lime Kiln Shute/Rowlands Lane crossroads, between Newport Shute and Knighton Shute.
No one is thought to have been seriously injured in the crash, which has caused front end damage to both vehicles.
Motorists are facing delays in the area but the road remains open.
UPDATE – Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service have checked over those involved in the crash, which has now been cleared.
It’s been confirmed that the incident involved a white Citroen C3 Aircross and a grey Volkswagen Polo.
I’m afraid to say it’s not the road junction it’s the drivers as always!!
Yea it’s usual thing nothing wrong with the junction at all if your not sure don’t pull out
