It is the Isle of Wight Police, not Hampshire Police. They are there as support!!!!!!
There is NO Isle of Wight police….. We come under the umbrella of Hampshire Police
Sadly the middle road and the drive from Newport to Freshwater via Yarmouth is a haven for speeding cars , there are no cameras and no Police around. Driving at night is very often dangerous due to speeding cars in and out of Freshwater especially the dark haired large built man in a blue car with illegal exhaust speeding around Freshwater and joining other cars down at Freshwater sea front smoking dope before getting back into his and others getting in there’s and driving off breaking numerous laws and stoned whilst driving.
it is extremely intimidating driving at the legal speed to be overtaken by reckless drivers every day .This is a massive problem on the IOW as we do not have the resources and I urge every one that experiences bad drivers to contact the police and not be passive and intimidated by dangerous driving, it could be yours or a loved ones life on a slab.
