Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following the theft of a car trailer from Newport earlier this year.
A Brian James Clubman trailer, worth £2,000, was stolen from Forest Road in Newport on 30th January before being towed to Wightlink’s Fishbourne ferry terminal. It was then boarded onto the 22:00 sailing to Portsmouth.
The trailer’s rightful owner says the trailer is easy to identify as it has had extra bars welded in, as well as some other identifying markers. The tow hitch was locked at the time of the theft.
Anyone who knows this man, or has any information, is asked to call police on 101 quoting 44160052290. Information can be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
