A person stranded in the water at the Wightlink ferry terminal in Yarmouth has seen a lifeboat and 2 coastguard crews respond.
The incident occurred shortly after 19:30 this evening (Friday) and has seen the RNLI Lifeboat in Yarmouth launch alongside Coastguard Rescue Teams from The Needles and Ventnor who are en-route respectively.
They are joined at the scene Police.
It is unclear as to how the casualty became isolated in the water, or for exactly how long they have been there.
