Take his licence away for life, this man could have killed any of us if we had been travelling along this area. Drink drivers should also have their cars scrapped.
Horrible selfish man, inflicting his behaviour on innocent people!
He is old enough to know better !!
What’s the relevance of stating “pensioner”?
Perhaps the next headline could include “Benefit recipient” or “Youth” etc. to clickbait the headline a bit.
Because he is an old fart, and it makes a nice change not to see chav in the title!
I await the day when a headline says “Chav”. The snowflakes would cry their eyes out.
because it is a statement of fact – the deadbeat doesn’t deserve any anonymity
I dare say his name will be public at the court hearing, as it should be. It has nothing to do with anonymity proclaiming “Pensioner”
What a moron. Hopefully a very lengthy ban and a spell inside. Given his age I suppose there is a real chance he may not get his licence back, one can only hope.
Now you’ll have to carry your ladders Steve and clean those windows. Your a disgrace.
I think when you get to 70 take your test again or not drive at all
Wait till you’re 70 and come back to me on that one.
one of the ryde morris’s hardly surprised,
Another one assuming just because of a name.
You couldn’t be more wrong.
Taxi for gullible islander Morris, x
You do not have to take a test when you reach 70 – you renew your licence every three years after that unless there is an exceptional reason to take a test.
Some people will never learn will they, maybe the way to make them learn is make them personally pay for all the damage they cause. Also, a lifetime driving ban rather than the far too lenient two years or so that drink drivers get. Something needs to be done about these people, and drink driving laws because currently they’re far too soft on these morons. someone could have been killed as a consequence of this individuals wrecklessness.
What a selfish individual Steve, absolutely no consideration for anyone else but yourself. Permanent ban and yes pay for the damage caused, as a business owner its the least you could do. I for one will never use your company again.
