Red Funnel is expanding its trophy cabinet after being awarded the ‘RoSPA Order of Distinction’ for Occupational Health and Safety.
The Order of Distinction has been granted with the company having achieved 15 consecutive years of Gold Awards and 5 Presidents Awards. The Order of Distinction will be presented to Red Funnel by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) at an awards ceremony at ExCeL London on 21st June.
RoSPA’s is at the heart of accident prevention in the UK and around the world with a mission to save lives and reduce injuries covering all ages and stages of life. In support of this mission, the RoSPA Awards, which date back 59 years, recognise commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work. Through the scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
