More job losses are expected at Gurit in Newport, with up to 20 employees facing an uncertain future.
Over 450 staff members are currently employed at the manufacturing firm on St Cross Business Park in Newport, but the company have confirmed ‘fewer than 20 employees’ may be affected by proposed staffing changes.
A period of consultation has begun. It is currently unknown when positions are likely to be lost.
Earlier this year, Island Echo reported on the loss of 80-90 jobs at Gurit.
