The number of people claiming the unemployment benefit Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) rose by 107 during October.
A total of 1,325 Islanders were claiming the benefit last month, a rise from 1,218 during September.
Despite the rise – which was expected as the Island’s tourism season ends – there were still 278 more people in work compared to October 2014 (1,603).
