An 18-year-old woman has been found safe by officers after a missing person search in Shanklin this morning (Saturday).
At least 4 police units rushed to the area surrounding Sandy Lane and Landguard Manor Road at 11:29 this morning after reports were received of the female going missing from the nearby Landguard Holiday Park.
Officers swiftly conducted a search of the local area including several side streets, eventually locating the 18-year-old at an address on Anderri Way – less than a quarter of the mile from the holiday park.
Paramedics were then called to tend to the woman.
Emergency services stood down at around 13:00.
