MINOR INJURIES REPORTED FOLLOWING CRASH IN CARISBROOKE

Minor injuries have been reported following a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian this afternoon (Wednesday). Police and paramedics were called shortly before 14:00 to High Street in Carisbrooke just outside The Eight Bells car park following reports of an incident involving a car and a pedestrian. The road was blocked for a short while whilst those present tended to the pedestrian resulting in delays in the area. The incident has since been cleared.
