The driver of a hatchback that crashed into a wall in Ventnor in the early hours of this morning (Sunday) has reported minor injuries. Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called to the scene on Leeson at around 03:20 following reports of a single-vehicle collision. At the scene a black hatchback had crashed into a garden wall, sustaining heavy front-end damage. The driver of the vehicle had left the scene and returned home, but a family member remained at the scene to speak with officers, who then attended the home address of the driver earlier this morning.
