Local charity Mindset Bros is hosting a first-of-its-kind ‘Mindset Bros Cup’, which will see men from across the Isle of Wight unite for a day of sport and support in East Cowes.
Being the first of hopefully many events like this, Mindset Bros hope the charity golf day will bring together a variety of businesses, services and members of the wider community to support them in their mission to support men’s mental health across the Island.
Taking place on 23rd July at Osborne Golf Course, the event will be played as a 4 Ball competition and is open to golfers of all abilities, ensuring a welcoming environment whether you’re a seasoned player or simply looking to enjoy a great day out while supporting an important cause.
Founder of Mindset Bros, Ross Taylor said:
“The Mindset Bros Cup is about much more than golf. It’s about bringing people together, creating conversations and raising the funds that allow us to continue supporting men when they need it most.
“We’d love to see businesses and members of the public get behind the event, whether that’s by entering a team, donating a prize or simply coming along to support the day.”
Mindset Bros is a community-driven organisation that has grown significantly across the Isle of Wight through weekly Walk & Talk sessions, monthly meet-ups and one-to-one support. All proceeds from the day will enable the charity to continue its vital work for Island men.
As well as the golf competition, there will be a charity raffle and auction, giving attendees the chance to win fantastic prizes while raising even more funds for the charity.
Mindset Bros is now calling on local businesses and supporters to get involved by donating raffle or auction prizes no matter the size of the contribution.
Businesses wishing to donate a raffle or auction prize, sponsor part of the event, or find out more are encouraged to contact [email protected].
