Flying doctors from the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance have been called to a medical emergency in Bembridge this morning (Monday).
Scrambled from their base at Thruxton just after 10:00, the helicopter touched down at Steyne Park at around 10:40.
Blue light colleagues from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service, who had been at an address in the local area, joined them at the recreation ground to transfer the patient.
An Enhanced Care Paramedic is also present at the scene.
The casualty has been conveyed to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
Hope the patient is OK.
