A man in his 30s has sustained head injuries following an assault at a bus stop in Sandown last night (Tuesday).
Police were called to Victoria Road in the town at 21:26 after 999 reports were received of an assault having taken place.
Officers responded to the scene and located a male with injuries to his head, although those injuries are not life-threatening.
Hampshire Constabulary say that enquiries are ongoing at this time. No arrests have been made.
