A man that was arrested by Armed Police in Cowes earlier this month will face no further action over the incident.
The 34-year-old local male was detained just yards from Lanesend Primary School back on 3rd February after a male was spotted carrying a crossbow around Cowes.
The individual has been released from Police bail with no charge and is currently receiving support from the Island’s mental health team.
